Though most patients only require one visit to solve and achieve their breastfeeding goal, I am available to keep working with you for as long as you need.
After now helping hundreds of families, I realize that being an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant has made it an extraordinary journey for me. The most rewarding moments of my career come from my moms who call me months later to thank me for helping them breastfeed their child, telling me that without my help, they would have stopped breastfeeding long ago. Thank you for all your postcards, pictures and letters that you send me through the mail, e mail and facebook. I keep them all in a very special place, so I can see them daily.
In the comfort and privacy of your own home, I will come for an initial Lactation Consultant visit that typically lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I charge $95.00 to $115.00, depending on how far it is from my home. For twins, I charge $115.00 to $135.00. I will let you know how much it is over the phone before we meet.
( However, if you cannot afford this, please let me know. I will work something out with you). Additional Lactation Consultant sessions are $75.00 to $95.00. For twins the sessions are $95.00 to $115.00. During the initial visit, I will take a medical history of you and your baby and address your breastfeeding issues and concerns. I will weigh your baby if needed. I will show you how to use your breast pump that you have rented or purchased. I will leave you with a detailed written care plan based on what we have discussed together. After one in home consultation, I give you unlimited phone calls. I always return your calls within a few hours. You also have the option of e mailing me, writing a facebook message or sending me a text. I make myself very available to you.
There are only a few of us in the Central Houston, Texas area that are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. Make sure whomever you use, has this certification because we are specifically trained to help moms like you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you. My rates are very reasonable.
