The most rewarding moments of my career come from my moms who call me months later to thank me for helping them breastfeed their child, telling me that without my help, they would have stopped breastfeeding long ago. In the comfort and privacy of your own home, I will come for an initial Lactation Consultant visit that typically lasts 1 to 11/2 hours. I charge $80.00 to $100.00, depending on how far it is from my home. For twins, I charge $95.00 to $115.00. I will let you know how much it is over the phone before we meet.
( However, if you cannot afford this, please let me know. I will work something out with you). Additional Lactation Consultant sessions are $65.00 to $85.00. For twins the sessions are $80.00 to $100.00. During the initial visit, I will take a medical history of you and your baby and address your breastfeeding issues and concerns. I will weigh your baby if needed. I will show you how to use your breast pump that you have rented or purchased. I will leave you with a detailed written care plan based on what we have discussed together.
There are only a few of us in the Central Houston, Texas area that are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. Make sure whomever you use, has this certification because we are specifically trained to help moms like you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you. My rates are very reasonable.
